General Information
- Our pest control contractor is usually on campus twice per week (normally
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
These hours are subject to change.
- When you place a call to the Customer Service Center (CSC) (x72226), or to the Emergency
Customer Service Center (ECSC) (x72341), you will need the following information:
- Name
- Phone number
- Type of pest
- Exact location of problem (Building, Room or Area, etc.)
- In order for pest control problems to be treated, someone must be in the area at the
time of treatment.
- The contractor will exterminate common pests such as ants, roaches, bees and
silverfish and will also set traps for mice. If you find stinging pests such as bees or
wasps in your room, lounges or highly traveled walkways, please contact the Physical
Facilities immediately (due to possible allergic reactions to stings).
- If you have a problem with larger animals, such as chipmunks, squirrels, skunks,
beavers, bats, etc., inside a building, you should contact the Customer Service Center
(x72226) during regular business hours (Monday- Friday, 7 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.) or the
Emergency Customer Service (x72341) at other times. They will make the appropriate
arrangements for removal of the aforementioned animals.
